A Winter Garden at Chateau Bagnolet

The Winter Garden of the Château de Bagnolet has always been a symbol of the Hennessy family’s globetrotting spirit.

Built in 1876 to mark the baptism of Richard Hennessy, the enchanting Winter Garden at the Château de Bagnolet, the historic Hennessy family estate in Cognac, in 2018 received an extensive two-year refurbishment.

Metalworkers, stonemasons, landscape artists, and a network of master artisans and artists helped to restore the metal and glass structure to its former glory. In so doing, they safeguarded the transmission of traditional savoir-faire while injecting the site with a fresh aesthetic, making it a unique space for entertaining special guests all year round.

Reflected in the mirrored walls, “Green Waves”, a hand-laid mosaic marble floor designed by the artist Mathilde Jonquière, pays tribute to the surrounding landscape and the nearby Charente Rivier that carried the Maison’s precious barrels to maritime trading posts. The work’s swirling formations are composed of 250,000 tiny green tiles in gradated shades and alternating matte and polished surfaces.

Bordering the light-filled space, a selection of over 200 rare species of Mediterranean plant from across the five continents, curated by the landscape gardener Claire Munier, brings a note of lush exoticism to the scene, paying tribute to the Maison’s spirit of conquest and its visitors from all over the world.

軒尼詩酒廠﹙Maison Hennessy﹚隆重介紹全新設計之軒尼詩李察干邑，干邑中罕見的珍稀鉅作，向其創始人和品牌歷史致以祟高的敬意。

自信而肯定，這款無與倫比的佳釀，採用軒尼詩酒窖儲備中一些最稀有的「生命之水」混釀而製。經過精心挑選，然後儲存在家族莊園中創始人的酒窖內。因此，軒尼詩李察干邑的製作數量極其有限：12 個 tierçons 橡木桶。Tierçons 是一款歷史悠久的法國橡木酒桶，由軒尼詩幾代製桶大師於製桶工場( Tonnellerie)手工製作而成。

全新軒尼詩李察干邑的酒瓶以 Baccarat玻璃製成，設計大膽、具有建築美學風格、優雅動人，洋溢現代氣息，配備由世界著名建築師 Daniel Libeskind 設計的配件，包括酒杯、取酒器和托盤。
